What a great, spacious car! Plenty of leg room and boot space without being a huge vehicle. Drives beautifully and looks classy. Just be aware that Mazdas made 2008-2010 have a very common defect where the dashboard melts into tar in the sun. Check the condition of the dashboard before purchasing. If it’s shiny (on a cooler day) or sticky/melty (on a warmer day), you’ll need to replace the dash. The more it melts, the more you breathe in toxic fumes.

Love it!! Has the convenience of everything I had in my previous vehicle (Toyota Avensis) only newer. Great on gas, has been very reliable thus far, looks good too.

The Mazda Atenza is very comfortable and spacious, it makes it easy for me to travel with my family. For a vehicle of its size, it's quite economical on fuel. I would recommend to any buyer who's in to big, comfortable and economical vehicles.

So far so good. We have taken a few road trips and the car handled itself well in some of the heavy rains we drove through.

A 6 manual transmission was the real selling point for me. The room in the car, the CC rating, colour etc were secondary to that

Chose '2009 Mazda Atenza 25s' model because my research indicated the 2.5 litre engine with 5-speed automatic was preferable to the previous 2.3 with 4-speed auto. The 2.5 was introduced in 2008 Japan model year (2009 for USA), giving enhanced reliability and more power. Reviews suggest this engine, with correct regular servicing, can be expected to last 300 to 400,000 MILES. So at 150,000km (less than 100,000 miles) my evidentially well-maintained 2009 Mazda is still a pup!

The car is very nice. Went for a long drive the next day, very nice to drive and comfortable, roomy, seems to be good on petrol.
